Our good ol' buddy Jonas Diego and his company...IAS, will be conducting an artcontest at the Komikon 2006 (poster and details below for more details), called the Lead Slingers Challenge!, and the ultimate prize is 10, 000 pesos and a two week contract job at his office (way much cool than the price money!). Komikon 2006! The gathering of the best writer, percillers, inkers and computer graphic artist of comics here in the Philippines. An annual event (on it's 2nd year), that would unleased all the talents of comics has to offer. From Leilin Yu, Gilbert Monsanto, Carlo Vergara, Steve Gan, Gerry Alanguilan, Edgar Tadeo and a lot more. Some promising artist will unveil their works aswell.
